I’m quite fond of this courtyard. It’s a square plaza inside Coricancha also known as the Temple of the Sun. The courtyard is such a good place to watch the clouds. It’s simply beautiful.
The religious complex of Coricancha in the Inca capital at Cusco contained the Temple of the Sun which was not only the most sacred site or huaca in the Inca religion but was considered the very centre of the Inca world. (Wikipedia)
