Meet Christoph from Germany, Living in Prague

I met Christoph through couchsurfing. We were super lucky to have Christoph as our host in Prague. He is the perfect host! He was friendly, accommodating, fun, and super thoughtful! He even cooked amazing dinner for us! I felt like I was really at home because he treated us like we’re family or something. He’s a great conversationalist, very knowledgeable. Our stay in Prague was extra special because of him. I’d love to meet him again maybe in Asia or somewhere else! He’s simply awesome!

Cape Peninsula, South Africa

This is the view of the Cape Peninsula. Our tour guide stopped the van in a very strategic place so we had the whole side to ourselves. We were able to see this beautiful landscape uninterrupted. It was amazing.

Food Finds: Bánh cuốn

Hanoi, for me, is the Street Food capital of Southeast Asia. It’s my favorite Southeast Asian city.

What I’m featuring in this post is Bánh cuốn. I had it literally on the side of the road. It’s so good! It’s made of Vietnamese steamed rice rolls sheets filled with something like uh smoked pork inside the rolls and topped with fried shallots then you dip it in a Vietnamese sauce which I guess is made up of fish sauce, water, onions and maybe some chillies. I loved it! It’s incredibly refreshing. It’s light and perfect specially for breakfast or light snack.

Supermoon at Changi Boardwalk

Me and my friends went to Changi Boardwalk to take some sunset photos. We honestly didn’t know that it was a supermoon night. I saw the moon and ran towards my friends so we can go to the other side of the boardwalk to see its full glory. It started to be visible here in Singapore about an hour after sunset. I’m a newbie Olympus user so I don’t really know how to capture the detail of the moon and I don’t really have the proper lens to do the job. But I’m very happy with the photo I took. It was beautiful! 😻😻😻

Meet Darren from Malta

I was fortunate to meet Darren during my short visit to Istanbul. We were hosted by the same couchsurfing host, Burak. He was super smart. He was way younger than me but his point of views are definitely beyond this years. Oh yeah did I mention that he’s from Malta?!? Malta’s population is just over 400,000 and it’s so cool to meet an actual Maltese person. This is the reason why I love traveling coz I get to meet awesome people like Darren! I can’t wait to visit Malta! 🙂

Port of Cape Town

This is Port of Cape Town located in Table Bay at V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. I highly recommend staying near this place because it’s super convenient and very beautiful. I was so happy I stayed here coz this place has the best view of the Table Mountain!
