Museo de Historia de Madrid

Museo de Historia de Madrid was the first museum I visited when I first arrived in Madrid coz it was super near the hostel that I stayed in. It used to be an orphanage, now it’s a museum that showcases Madrid’s history and arts. What I really love about this museum was the paintings. The paintings weren’t random like other museums. It tells a story, Madrid’s history and how the city evolved through the years. It was quite insightful. It’s free to the public which was awesome but it’s closed on Mondays so we were lucky to arrive on a Thursday.
